We're taking part!
Just like in the previous edition, eNSPIRED is once again bringing international perspectives to the annual congress of Velov, the association for teacher educators in Flanders.
This year, we're thinking bigger! Once every three years, Velov joins forces with its Dutch counterpart, Velon. On March 10 & 11, 2025, you can visit Rotterdam for the Velon-Velov Conference 2025—the key gathering for teachers and teacher educators from the Low Countries.

On Tuesday, March 11, we will present an engaging keynote with Zambian expert Cleopatra Muma. Cleopatra is the Executive Director of Zambia Open Community Schools (ZOCS), a pioneering NGO in Zambia’s education sector that places parental and community involvement at the heart of a child's education. Together with Johan De Wilde (Odisee) and Marieke Bavelaar (KOOGO), she will explore the crucial role of parents in the learning process of children.
How can teachers collaborate and communicate more effectively with parents from diverse backgrounds? Johan De Wilde will share how Odisee University of Applied Sciences strengthens these themes in its teacher training programmes at the request of school leadership teams. Marieke Bavelaar will connect this challenge to scientific research and the Betrokkenheidsboom® framework. Cleopatra Muma will broaden the discussion, bringing insights from her Zambian experience as a specialist in community schools.
